GoDaddy domain name no longer cheap.
Godaddy (http://www.goDaddy.com) was once selling .COM domain name as low as $7.95/year. The good old days is now gone, I have recently checked their website, it is now selling at $9.99 !! The domain renewal price isn’t cheap too… check out their pricing scale below.

What does it mean to Park domain in web hosting ?
When you park a domain in web hosting context, usually within the hosting control panel, it is to have the parked domain having the same content with the primary domain.
e.g. If your primary domain is abc-book.com, and when you park abc-book.NET to your account, abc-book.net will shows the same content as abc-book.com .
It is different from domain forwarding, which is to redirect the url to another url destination. Parked domain will NOT change the domain url display on browser.
Most hosting plan allows unlimited park domain.

Avoid buying domains from small unknown reseller.
Losing control on your important domain name can be a disaster to you. When you are trying to register a new domain name, try to purchase domain from first level ICANN accredited registrar.
Problems you might have with smaller resellers. :-
i) The small reseller stopped supporting without informing you - you may have difficulty renewing the domain when the domain expired and you can’t contact him to pay and renew it.
ii) The reseller no longer active and have LOCKED your domain. You will have problem transferring the domain out, renew, changing dns and etc.
iii) There are resellers who register customer’s domain using their own information without customer consent. It could be hassle to you when you are trying to transfer the domain out to other registrar.
However, there are pros when you purchase domain from small resellers, you will usually gets more personallise support the CEO, the business owner directly.
